Throughout his carrier with IAF he was associated with network planning, link budgeting, equipment procurement, installation and commissioning of Microwave communication networks (LOS, TROPO and Satellite ). For 20 years he was associated with Radar and Communication Project under Min of Defence.
He has served with TATANET, Nelco division and executed Satellite based major communication projects for IAF and ONGC.

Experience over 35 years in Deptt of Telecom (Indian Telecom Service) in variety of areas of Policy, USOF, Project installation, Maintenance, planning and management of both modern long distance telecom network and local network providing various kinds of services and around 4 years of work experience in Production and R&D in both private (Eastern Electronics) /PSU (ITI) of telecom industry. Retired as DDG (Broadband) USOF DOT. Work profile relates to formulating various schemes pertaining to broadband in rural areas including latest major initiative of GoI viz. pan India NOFN (National optical fibre Network) to connect 2.5 lakh Gram Panchayats. Contributed as member, DOT Standing Committee on Spectrum, NTP-12 formulation and NOT website design.
